Data protection and your data
Where the data is stored, DPA, what employees and managers see, export and deletion.
Is there a data processing agreement (DPA)?
Pricing and invoicing
Invoice, minimum number of people and VAT for businesses.
Recording in the app
Record and correct time entries.
Domains, projects and tasks
Create, move, merge.
Export, import and backup
Back up, transfer and restore data.
How do I move my data to a new device?
- CSV export and import: Export the time entries on the old device and open the CSV file on the new one with Gleeo Time Tracker (see above). Domains, projects, tasks and time entries are transferred, but not the settings.
- Internal backup: If Internal backup is switched on in the settings together with the upload to Google Drive, restore the backup on the new device directly from Google Drive (see below). If you do not want to use Google Drive, copy the backups by hand:
- Android: The backups are stored in the directory you chose when switching on the internal backup. Copy it completely to the new device, switch on the internal backup there and choose the copied directory.
- iOS: The backups are stored in the Files app under On My iPhone in the directory GTT/Backup (subdirectories Data and Settings). Switch on the internal backup on the new device and copy the directory Backup completely to the same place.
- Sync&Team: Install the app on the new device, sign in with the same account and synchronise. Domains, projects, tasks and time entries come from the server. Do not import anything beforehand, otherwise you get duplicate entries (see below).
